Create Forms
Turn any PDF into a fillable form: add text boxes, check boxes, lists, buttons and signature fields. Done in your browser: your file never leaves your device.
Drop a PDF here
It opens in the form editor. You can also drag one from Documents.
How to create a PDF
- 1
Open your PDF
Drop it here or choose it from your device. If it has a password, the editor asks for it.
- 2
Add the fields
Draw text boxes, check boxes, radio buttons, lists, buttons and signature fields where they belong, and set each one’s name, format and look.
- 3
Save the form
Save the fillable PDF. Anyone can fill it in with Acrobat, a browser or any PDF reader.
Questions
Which kinds of fields can I add?
Text boxes (one line or several, with formats such as dates and numbers), check boxes, radio buttons, drop-down lists, list boxes, push buttons and signature fields.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The form is built in your browser with our own PDF engine. Your PDF never leaves your device.
Can I change the fields a PDF already has?
Yes. Existing fields open with the PDF: move them, resize them, change their names, options and look, or delete them.
Will the form work in Acrobat and other readers?
Yes. The fields are standard PDF form fields (AcroForm), filled in by Acrobat, browsers, phones and every common PDF reader.
Can I add calculations or checks?
Yes: a field can check what is typed (a number, a date, a range) and totals can be calculated from other fields, as Acrobat forms do.
Can I edit a password-protected PDF?
Yes. Enter its password when asked. If its author does not allow changes to its forms, the editor asks for its permissions (owner) password too. The saved file keeps the same passwords.
