Questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. The PDFs are merged in your browser with our own PDF engine. They never leave your device.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Yes. Enter each one’s password on its line. The merged PDF has no password; protect it with Encrypt PDF if you want one.

In what order are the pages?

The files in the order of the list, each file’s pages in its own order. Drag a file, or use its arrows, to move it.

What happens to bookmarks and the document’s details?

The merged PDF keeps the first file’s title, author and other details, and its bookmarks. The pages of the other files follow, with their links and comments.

Is there a limit on files or pages?

No limit of ours: as many as your device’s memory holds. Very large merges are fastest on a computer.
